This the most popular of our dishes. Brisket cooked for a minimum of 8 hours in red wine with bacon, button onions and mushrooms and served with Bubble and Squeak.

Bellas’ thick Cumberland and their traditional black pudding we believe them both to be the best on the market grilled and served with local free range hens eggs

Best diced Cumbrian steak cooked slowly in beef stock with onions, and mushrooms finished with a suet short pastry crust
Belly of Cumbrian Pork stuffed with apples, onions and black pudding served with Bubble and Squeak and a Cider and Calvados sauce £13
Stuffed Belly of pork cooked slowly and gently in cider served on our pan fried bubble and squeak, as good as pork gets.
Vegetable Spaghetti Pesto. With Garlic Bread £9
Vegetables simply tossed with spaghetti and pesto topped with parmesan cheese and served with garlic bread.
Fillet of Hake Mornay Gratin with Duchesse Potato. £11
A fillet of this the best of the white fish cooked simply with a touch of white wine in its own dish with duchesse potato with a rich creamy cheese sauce.
